Tierra Smith is an award-winning journalist, speaker, and world traveler. She is passionate about storytelling and uplifting the voices of women and marginalized communities.

She is the founder of Watch Me Win, a media platform that champions underrepresented voices in business, sports, and politics, and Wins For Black Girls, a platform designed to spread good news about Black women.

 

Tierra most recently served as Social Media Editor at BLACK ENTERPRISE, where she led content strategy for a combined audience of over 2 million followers. She also wrote for major media outlets, including KPRC 2, Bisnow, and Community Impact Newspaper in Houston, as well as The Denver Post, Salt Lake Tribune, and Tampa Bay Times. She covers topics including real estate, culture, local government, health, entrepreneurship, and racial and gender equity.

A Milwaukee native, Tierra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Grambling State University and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, the Ida B. Wells Society for Investigative Journalism, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
